      <title>Fisheye Navigation is Crap</title>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;I saw this  &lt;a href="http://www.maxkiesler.com/index.php/designdemo/fullview/399/"&gt;AJAX fisheye navigation demo&lt;/a&gt;  back in 2006 and forgot clean about it as I thought it was crap.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Well I just happened upon it again and guess what, it's still crap. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As you mouse over the navigation items, the items increase in size in proportion to how close the mouse cursor is to them. This means the &lt;em&gt;position&lt;/em&gt; of each nav item &lt;em&gt;changes&lt;/em&gt;. The idea of navigation items as moving targets is bad. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
